Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces or 170 grams each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
- 1 teaspoon paprika (5 g)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, sliced (for serving)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your broiler on high.
- Place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper evenly over the fillets.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven, about 6 inches from the heat source and broil for 5-10 minutes.
- Cook until the salmon flakes easily with a fork or the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, and serve immediately.
