Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces or 170 grams each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (5 g)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your broiler on high.
  2. Place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper evenly over the fillets.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the oven, about 6 inches from the heat source and broil for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Cook until the salmon flakes easily with a fork or the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, and serve immediately.
