Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) fresh raspberries (or frozen if out of season)
- 1 cup (240ml) pomegranate juice (100% juice, no added sugar)
- 1 medium banana, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust for sweetness)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of choice (almond, dairy, coconut, etc.)
- Fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
- Pomegranate seeds for garnish (optional)
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash fresh raspberries under cold water and peel and slice the banana.
- In the blender, combine raspberries, pomegranate juice, banana, Greek yogurt, honey, and milk.
- Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
- Taste the smoothie. If more sweetness is desired, add honey or maple syrup and blend again.
- Pour the smoothie into two glasses. Garnish with fresh raspberries, pomegranate seeds, and mint leaves if desired.
