Ingredients:

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Mini marshmallows (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. In the crockpot, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until well incorporated.
  3. Set the crockpot to low heat for 2-3 hours or high heat for 1-1.5 hours. Stir occasionally.
  4. Once the mixture is hot and the chocolate chips are melted, it’s ready to serve. The consistency should be rich and creamy.
  5. Ladle the hot chocolate into mugs and top with mini marshmallows.
