Ingredients:
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Mini marshmallows (for topping)
Instructions:
- In the crockpot, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until well incorporated.
- Set the crockpot to low heat for 2-3 hours or high heat for 1-1.5 hours. Stir occasionally.
- Once the mixture is hot and the chocolate chips are melted, it’s ready to serve. The consistency should be rich and creamy.
- Ladle the hot chocolate into mugs and top with mini marshmallows.
