Ingredients:
- 1 pound frozen broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish, optional)
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil.
- Add the frozen broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes, just until tender.
- Drain and set aside.
- In the same saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the cooked broccoli back to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and if desired, add lemon juice and stir to combine.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with your choice of toppings.
