Ingredients:

  • 1 pound frozen broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish, optional)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil.
  2. Add the frozen broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes, just until tender.
  3. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
  6. Add the cooked broccoli back to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and if desired, add lemon juice and stir to combine.
  8. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with your choice of toppings.
