Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade. Place chicken strips on the hot grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Transfer chicken strips to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
