Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs (300g)
- 1/4 cup milk (60ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (3g)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- 8 oz (225g) cooked sausage (Italian or breakfast sausage, crumbled)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (100g)
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper (75g)
- 1/4 cup diced onion (40g)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the crumbled sausage, cooking until heated through.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and vegetables, stirring gently to combine.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set.
- Place the skillet in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes or until the frittata is set in the center and slightly golden on top.
- Allow the frittata to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
