Ingredients:

  • 1 medium green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the cabbage by removing the outer leaves, cutting it into quarters, coring it, and slicing it thinly.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil, allowing it to warm for about 1 minute.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn.
  4. Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and stir well to combine with garlic.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and thyme, then sauté for 10-12 minutes until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. If desired, drizzle with apple cider vinegar or lemon juice before serving and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
