Ingredients:
- 1 medium green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the cabbage by removing the outer leaves, cutting it into quarters, coring it, and slicing it thinly.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil, allowing it to warm for about 1 minute.
- Sauté minced garlic in the skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn.
- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and stir well to combine with garlic.
- Add salt, pepper, and thyme, then sauté for 10-12 minutes until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized.
- If desired, drizzle with apple cider vinegar or lemon juice before serving and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
