Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120 ml) Baking Soda
  • Spray bottle filled with undiluted White Vinegar
  • A few drops (approx. 5 ml) Dish Soap
  • Clean Water
  • Stovetop Cleaner (optional)
  • Razor Blade (Stovetop Scraper) - optional
  • Clean Microfiber Cloths

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the stovetop is completely cool to the touch.
  2. Wipe the stovetop with a damp cloth to remove loose debris.
  3. Sprinkle baking soda liberally over the stovetop surface, focusing on heavily soiled areas.
  4. Spray the baking soda with white vinegar. It should fizz.
  5. Add a few drops of dish soap to the mixture.
  6. Mix into a paste and apply on the stove top.
  7. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Using a soft sponge or cloth, gently scrub the surface. For stubborn spots, use the razor blade scraper very carefully.
  9. Rinse the stovetop thoroughly with clean water, removing all traces of baking soda and vinegar. Repeat steps if needed.
  10. Dry the stovetop with a clean microfiber cloth. Buff to a sparkling shine.
  11. If stubborn stains persist, apply stovetop cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions. Be sure to follow up with a rinse and a dry buff.
