Ingredients:

  • 4 Bream fillets (about 4 oz / 113 g each)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons (10 g) chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) salt
  • ½ teaspoon (2 g) black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons / 30 ml)
  • Fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lime juice.
  2. Add bream fillets to the marinade and coat evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  5. Place the marinated bream fillets in the baking dish, skin side down. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges, if desired.
