Ingredients:

  • 1 box (15.25 oz or 432 g) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (90 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (90 g) sprinkles (preferably jimmies for a better texture)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease the baking pan or line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and melted butter.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips (if using) and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
  8. Allow blondies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Cut into squares and enjoy!
