Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 8 oz mini mozzarella balls (Ciliegine or Bocconcini), drained
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves (approx. 30g)
- 24 4-inch bamboo skewers
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
- Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries and basil. Use paper towels to pat the mozzarella balls dry to ensure they don't slip on the plate.
- Thread the ingredients onto each skewer in this order: one strawberry half (cut side up), one folded basil leaf, and one mini mozzarella ball.
- Arrange the assembled skewers on a chilled serving platter.
- Just before serving, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and the balsamic glaze. Season with a final pinch of flaky sea salt and cracked black pepper.
