Ingredients:
- 750 ml bottle dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Albariño)
- 120 ml (½ cup) brandy (optional)
- 120 ml (½ cup) orange liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 60 ml (¼ cup) simple syrup
- 1 medium green apple, cored and chopped
- 1 medium pear, cored and chopped
- 1 medium orange, sliced into thin rounds
- 1 cup green grapes, halved
- 125 ml (½ cup) fresh raspberries
- 500 ml (2 cups) sparkling water or club soda
- Optional garnishes: mint sprigs, orange slices, extra berries
Instructions:
- Chop the apple and pear into bite-sized pieces. Slice the orange into thin rounds. Halve the grapes.
- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy (if using), orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
- Add the chopped apple, pear, orange slices, grapes, and raspberries to the pitcher.
- Gently muddle the fruit with a muddler or wooden spoon to release some of its juices and flavors.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, top the sangria with sparkling water or club soda.
- Pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with mint sprigs, orange slices, and extra berries, if desired.
