Ingredients:

  • 2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts (300g)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (30ml) (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (e.g., canola, grapeseed) (15ml) (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt (2g) (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Measure out 2 cups of unsalted roasted peanuts.
  2. Add peanuts to the food processor.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until the peanuts turn into a flour-like consistency.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed and keep blending for 2-3 more minutes until the peanuts release their oils and form a creamy paste.
  5. Add honey or maple syrup, oil (if using), and sea salt.
  6. Blend for another 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  7. Taste the peanut butter and adjust sweetness or salt as desired.
  8. Transfer the peanut butter to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
