Ingredients:
- 2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts (300g)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (30ml) (optional)
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil (e.g., canola, grapeseed) (15ml) (optional)
- ½ teaspoon sea salt (2g) (adjust to taste)
Instructions:
- Measure out 2 cups of unsalted roasted peanuts.
- Add peanuts to the food processor.
- Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until the peanuts turn into a flour-like consistency.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed and keep blending for 2-3 more minutes until the peanuts release their oils and form a creamy paste.
- Add honey or maple syrup, oil (if using), and sea salt.
- Blend for another 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the peanut butter and adjust sweetness or salt as desired.
- Transfer the peanut butter to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
