Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup (30g) packed fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup (75g) frozen mango chunks
- 1/4 medium avocado (approx. 35g)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) chia seeds
- 1/2 inch (1.25cm) fresh ginger, peeled
Instructions:
- Roughly chop the spinach. Peel and roughly chop the ginger.
- Add the almond milk, spinach, mango, avocado, lime juice, chia seeds, and ginger to the blender.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or tanginess as desired. Add a squeeze more lime juice or a touch of honey or maple syrup (optional).
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
