Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups (180g) rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon (3g) baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon (3g) ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon (1g) salt
  • 1 ½ cups (225g) Raisinets

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in raisins and half of the Raisinets.
  7. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies evenly apart.
  8. Press remaining Raisinets slightly into the tops of the cookie dough balls.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and centers look set.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
