Ingredients:
- 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups (180g) rolled oats
- 1 ½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon (3g) baking soda
- ½ teaspoon (3g) ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon (1g) salt
- 1 ½ cups (225g) Raisinets
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in raisins and half of the Raisinets.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies evenly apart.
- Press remaining Raisinets slightly into the tops of the cookie dough balls.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and centers look set.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
