Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup (170g) peanut butter chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease or line the baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  7. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  8. Gently fold in the peanut butter chips until evenly distributed.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Allow brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Cut into squares and serve.
