Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup (40g) chia seeds
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp (0.75g) fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Add the chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt into a mixing bowl or directly into glass Mason jars.
  2. Whisk vigorously for 60 seconds until the seeds are evenly distributed and no dry clumps remain.
  3. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes to allow seeds to begin absorbing liquid.
  4. Whisk the mixture a second time to break up clusters and ensure a smooth, consistent set.
  5. Seal the jars tightly and refrigerate for at least 12 hours (overnight) to allow the fiber network to fully develop.
