Ingredients:
- 2 oz premium vodka
- 2 oz fresh espresso (slightly cooled)
- 0.5 oz coffee liqueur
- 0.25 oz simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 3 whole coffee beans
- 1 cup ice (for shaking)
Instructions:
- Place your glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes to chill.
- Add the vodka, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, and cooled espresso into a cocktail shaker without ice.
- Fill the shaker halfway with large, solid ice cubes.
- Perform a 'Hard Shake' vigorously for 15 seconds until the shaker is painfully cold to the touch, to emulsify the coffee oils and create a dense foam.
- Double strain through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh sieve into the chilled glass.
- Wait 5 seconds for the foam to settle and separate. Garnish with three coffee beans in a petal formation on top of the foam. Serve immediately.
