Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skin-on (680 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest (6 grams)
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper (10 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (5 grams)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, and sea salt.
  2. Place salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they’re well-coated. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add marinated salmon fillets, skin-side down. Cook for 5-6 minutes until skin is crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
