Homemade Honey Butter

Sweet and extra creamy homemade honey butter with a pinch of sea salt is unbelievable on just about anything. This quick and easy recipe will elevate your rolls, biscuits, or pancakes!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (16 Tbsp; 226g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1/3 cup (113g) honey
  • 3 Tablespoons (23g) confectioners sugar
  • 1/4–1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium speed for 1 minute until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the honey, confectioners sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of flaky sea salt. Beat on medium-high speed until completely smooth, about 1 minute.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula and beat again to combine as needed.
  4. Taste the mixture and add more salt if desired, up to 1/4 teaspoon.
  5. Serve with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of sea salt on top.

Storage Tips

Cover leftovers tightly and store at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for 2–3 months.

Freezing Instructions: Freeze honey butter for up to 6 months. Use either a freezer-friendly container or wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
