Ingredients:
- 18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to create a sling for easy removal.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat (or a microwave-safe bowl), combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter.
- Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is completely melted and the texture is glossy and smooth. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals at 50% power.
- Remove from heat and immediately fold in the vanilla extract and sea salt. Stir vigorously for 30 seconds to incorporate.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a silicone spatula. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm before slicing into 36 squares.
