Ingredients:
- 2 cups (200g) Graham cracker crumbs
- 4 tbsp (57g) Unsalted butter, melted
- 10 oz (283g) Mini marshmallows
- 1 cup (170g) Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Unsalted butter
- 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring a 2-inch overhang on two opposite sides.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl; stir until it resembles wet sand.
- Press the graham mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan using a flat glass to create a dense, flat layer.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine butter and mini marshmallows, stirring constantly until smooth and liquid.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, stirring for 30 seconds until the chocolate begins to soften but still holds some shape.
- Pour the marshmallow-chocolate mixture over the graham base and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Place the pan in the refrigerator and let it set for at least 2 hours.
- Lift the bars out using the parchment handles and slice into 9 equal squares using a sharp knife dipped in hot water.
