Ingredients:
- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped (about 2 cups / 300g)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons / 240ml)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
- 2 cups cold water (480ml)
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom (2g)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash, pit, and chop the peaches. Juice the lemons, discarding seeds.
- In a blender, combine chopped peaches, lemon juice, sugar, and cold water. Blend until smooth.
- If a smoother texture is desired, strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
- Stir in the ground cardamom until fully incorporated.
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
- Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
