Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped (about 2 cups / 300g)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons / 240ml)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 2 cups cold water (480ml)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom (2g)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash, pit, and chop the peaches. Juice the lemons, discarding seeds.
  2. In a blender, combine chopped peaches, lemon juice, sugar, and cold water. Blend until smooth.
  3. If a smoother texture is desired, strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  4. Stir in the ground cardamom until fully incorporated.
  5. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
  6. Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
