Homemade Honey Butter

Ingredients
- 1 cup (16 Tbsp; 226g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/3 cup (113g) honey
- 3 Tablespoons (23g) confectioners sugar
- 1/4–1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium speed for 1 minute until smooth and creamy.
- Add the honey, confectioners sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of flaky sea salt. Beat on medium-high speed until completely smooth, about 1 minute.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula and beat again to combine as needed.
- Taste the mixture and add more salt if desired, up to 1/4 teaspoon.
- Serve with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of sea salt on top.
Storage Tips
Cover leftovers tightly and store at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for 2–3 months.
Freezing Instructions: Freeze honey butter for up to 6 months. Use either a freezer-friendly container or wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
