Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment (or using an electric hand mixer), whip the cold cream to very soft peaks.
  2. Add the sour cream, powdered sugar, vanilla bean paste, and spices. Whisk until you achieve stiffer but still soft and spoonable peaks. Taste and adjust cinnamon if desired.
  3. Gather four rocks glasses or fancy goblets.
  4. Crumble three ladyfinger cookies into the bottom of each glass.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the cream mixture over the cookies.
  6. Add another layer of crumbled cookies (three per glass) followed by another generous layer of cream.
  7. Dust each glass with cocoa powder.
  8. Cover the glasses with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 8 hours.
  9. When ready to serve, remove from the fridge, discard the plastic wrap, and top each glass with a shot of espresso. Enjoy!
